We are excited to host Regional Competitions throughout the state.  Although these events will be smaller in numbers, we still hope to provide the full Special Olympics Minnesota experience including Opening Ceremonies, FANstop, health activities, giveaways, competition and awards!

2021 Regional Competitions in Bocce

August 8: West St. Paul Sports Dome in West St. Paul
August 21: Shattuck-St. Mary in Faribault
August 26: Northstar Christian Academy in Alexandria
September 25: HealthEast Sports Center in Woodbury

Event details & restrictions

  • All participants must have current paperwork on file for practice and competitions including the COVID-19 waiver
  • All participants must be practicing with their delegation prior to competition and be registered through the online registration website.
  • Singles and Unified doubles offered in traditional and modified bocce
    • Participants can only compete in one event
    • Two games played with divisions of four or less athletes
    • Participants will be scheduled for a shift time to compete
    • Qualifying scores are required for registration
  • Participants can attend as many locations as possible
    • Priority will go to participants from the region where the tournament is hosted
  • Return to Play guidelines must be followed at practice and competitions
    • Competitions may have a quota or be scheduled in shifts due to COVID size restrictions

  • All participants must be practicing with their delegation prior to competition and be registered through the online registration website.
  • All regular events offered: traditional and alternate shot 9-hole, traditional and alternate shot 3-hole, and individual skills
    • Traditional golfers will need to be able to golf independently without a cart because there will not be volunteers on site to keep score or drive carts
    • Participants can only compete in one event
    • Qualifying scores are required for registration
  • Participants can attend as many locations as possible
    • Priority will go to participants from the region where the tournament is hosted
  • Return to Play guidelines must be followed at practice and competitions
    • Competitions may have a quota or be scheduled in shifts due to COVID size restrictions

  • All participants must be practicing with their delegation prior to competition and be registered through the online registration website.
  • Traditional team, coach pitch team and Unified team events offered
    • Participants can only compete in one event
    • Qualifying scores are required for registration
    • If COVID restrictions do not allow for team play then the tournament will switch to individual skills only
  • Return to Play guidelines must be followed at practice and competitions
    • Competitions may have a quota or be scheduled in shifts due to COVID size restrictions
