Inclusive Health - Summer Games

Our Healthy Athletes program offers FREE health screenings and education to Special Olympics athletes! At Summer Games, athletes can visit Healthy Athletes in the indoor Field House and receive free screenings in the following areas: Opening Eyes, Special Smiles, Healthy Hearing, Fun Fitness, Strong Minds and Health Promotion.

Athletes who complete 4 or more screenings will receive a FREE pair of shoes, courtesy of Scheels! Once you complete 4 or more screenings, visit the Scheels shoe tent in Athlete Village to try on and take home your new pair of shoes.
Screenings are FREE for all SOMN athletes, even athletes who are not participating in Summer Games sports.
No insurance needed!
Screenings are noninvasive.
All athletes who complete the Fun Fitness screening will receive a cooling towel from Twin Cities Orthopedics.

All screenings except Healthy Hearing will be in the Field House.
